Vegetable Sizzler with Paneer & Herb Rice

Sizzler is mine and my family’s favorite. It is a complete one dish meal and more often healthy too. I use herb rice, grilled chunk of cottage cheese and french fries, served along with assorted vegetables. Prepare all this in advance and place them on sizzling hot iron plate, topped with home made mix of sauces only at the time of serving. This sizzler plate is then placed in a wooden tray so that it becomes easy to hold. Little water is sprinkled to create the sizzling sound that tingles taste buds and for sure increase your appetite.

Sizzler can be based on any international cuisine. Just need to change sauce and main ingredients according to the flavor of that region. Rice can be replaced with noodles.  Cottage cheese can be replaced with veggie cutlet or Indian potato patti and so on. There are various options but the important is to serve food steaming and sizzling hot. Continue reading Vegetable Sizzler with Paneer & Herb Rice

Kebabs are loaded with healthy green vegetables like spinach, peas, coriander etc and flavored with readily available spices. It can be served as an appetizer or as a starter with green chutney. Or make a complete meal by using it to prepare burgers, wraps and rolls. Continue reading Grilled Green Kebabs
