Uniqueness of this recipe is that it does not require fermentation, practically an instant recipe with lots of vegetables.

It is easy to make, nutritious breakfast option but can also be served at any time of the day. Enjoy freshly made hot, crispy and dense cake with green or tamarind chutney. Continue reading Oats and Sooji Savory Cake

Vegetable Sizzler with Paneer & Herb Rice

Sizzler is mine and my family’s favorite. It is a complete one dish meal and more often healthy too. I use herb rice, grilled chunk of cottage cheese and french fries, served along with assorted vegetables. Prepare all this in advance and place them on sizzling hot iron plate, topped with home made mix of sauces only at the time of serving. This sizzler plate is then placed in a wooden tray so that it becomes easy to hold. Little water is sprinkled to create the sizzling sound that tingles taste buds and for sure increase your appetite.

Sizzler can be based on any international cuisine. Just need to change sauce and main ingredients according to the flavor of that region. Rice can be replaced with noodles.  Cottage cheese can be replaced with veggie cutlet or Indian potato patti and so on. There are various options but the important is to serve food steaming and sizzling hot. Continue reading Vegetable Sizzler with Paneer & Herb Rice
